Our Story
The story of Hatchi started when we were working together at HubSpot.
Where it began
The story of Hatchi started when we were working together at HubSpot.
During that time, we built strong working relationships and quickly realised how well we collaborated. We appreciated each other not just as colleagues, but as people who approached challenges with curiosity, creativity, and a practical mindset.
Exploring different paths
After HubSpot, our paths took us in different directions.
We explored different areas both inside and outside the technology world — from consulting and entrepreneurship to community management, product development, and beyond. Some experiences were even far removed from digital, from strategy work to sushi making and teaching yoga.
What we learned
These experiences shaped how we think about organisations and problem solving.
We learned that the most interesting ideas come from combining different perspectives, and that the best solutions rarely come from a single point of view.
Coming back together
Over time, some of us came back together through Baskey, a HubSpot partner consultancy.
There, we worked closely with organisations to implement CRM systems, build marketing and sales processes, automate workflows, and help teams get real value from their tools.
Seeing the real problem
Working hands-on with many organisations gave us a deeper understanding of how businesses actually operate with digital systems.
We saw how powerful platforms could be when used well — but also how often companies struggled when tools, strategy, and processes weren’t properly connected.
The realisation
It became clear that most organisations didn’t just need help with one platform.
They needed support across multiple interconnected areas — research, strategy, technology, and implementation.
Bringing it all together
At the same time, we realised our experience extended far beyond the HubSpot ecosystem.
Between us, we had built expertise across research, strategy, CRM systems, AI tools, website development, community programmes, and digital infrastructure.
Bringing those experiences together naturally led to the creation of Hatchi.
Today, Hatchi helps organisations design and manage their digital ecosystems — connecting research, strategy, technology, and implementation so systems work together and organisations can grow with clarity.
